Have you ever wanted to explore the world through the eyes of a bee? Well, you’re in luck. Varsav Games Studio has announced that their latest title, Bee Simulator, will bee (sorry, couldn’t resist) making it’s way to Nintendo Switch at some point in the future.
In Bee Simulator, players jump into the role of a New York honey bee to explore Central Park from a third-person micro perspective. The game includes a single-player story mode, exploration mode, and split-screen mode that can be used for either coop or competitive play.
Your tiny insect life won’t simply involve flying around Central Park though. Players can pick pollen, search for rare flowers, waggle dance other bees back to the hive, interactive with other animals, and take on enemy wasps. The single-player story mode tells the tale of a hive in danger, while exploration mode allows you to freely explore the world at a relaxed pace. According to the developers, the split-screen mode will include an additional map that aims to make the game “even more fascinating”.
Bee Simulator features a relaxing soundtrack by Mikołaj Stroiński (best known for his work on Witcher 3 and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter) and will be available to play for the first time at Gamescom 2018.
